We began planting daffodils after the family service at Holy Trinity church, on 28th October 2007. Some had already prepared the ground, and a small area had been marked out for us, since the main planting would be on the following Saturday.




Even toddlers joined in!




On Saturday there was a charities Christmas card sale in the church, with refreshments, and while that was going on those who were willing joined in with the planting...




...but soon quite a lot of folk were involved, especially from the school, and all 1000 daffodil bulbs were planted - not all in this space!




By the end of February they were beginning to flower. We look forward to the spring and to full bloom!
